Glorify the LORD with me;
let us exalt his name together. (NIV)
Glorify the Lord with me.
Let US exalt His name together.
As I typed and re-typed Psalm 34:3, the phrase: "Let us praise God together on our knees. Let us praise God together on our knees. " popped into my head.Now it may be in your head too.
That is part of the song "Let us Break Bread Together". Unfortunately I can only find it as a complete song but I did find one that distract with a lot of video.
This is a way that we can all glorify God together, when we participate in communion in harmony with the right heart. When we forgive those who would harm us, or who have already harmed us, whether it be hurt feelings or physical hurts.
Jesus suffered on the cross for us. But before he did that, he ate with those who would betray, disown and reject him. He knew what was coming. He washed the feet of Judas who would kiss Him in greeting and as a sign to the ones who wanted Jesus dead. He looked at the ones who would run and hide during Christ's darkest, loneliest hours. Yet he loved them anyway. Yet he prayed for them anyway. Yet he washed their sins away anyway.
Let us glorify God together. It is such a simple thing to do. Just love each other. Forgive each other. Turn the other cheek when hurt. Glorify God together. Let us Praise God together on our knees.
Humble submission....to glorify God........together. Amen.
